School Education Health and Care Plan Coordinator

 Scale G (£12.12 – £12.93 an hour)

 21 hours a week, 52 weeks of the year.

 We are seeking to employ a School Education Health and Care Plan Coordinator to act as lead manager in Parkside school for the review process of EHC Plans, and the IEP process. The post holder will ensure that the special educational provisions set out in EHC Plans are delivered appropriately and in line with LA and school legal duties. They will support the IEP procedures in school, liaising with class staff and senior leaders.

This post is being created as part of a wider development in the school, to further ensure outcomes for our pupils are the best they can be.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. A full DBS check will be required for the successful candidate and other procedures and checks will be carried out for the successful candidate as laid out in our Safeguarding Children Policy.

This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.
