Payscale will be on Teachers Pay Scale relevant to successful candidate’s current grade.

 

Required to start from June 2018 in this 7-17 age special school for pupils with complex learning needs.  The school currently has 169 pupils on role.

It is expected that you will be a qualified teacher with an interest in working with pupils who have special educational needs.  The teaching commitment will be across the range of key stage 2 subjects.

Visits are recommended to understand the role fully – please phone the school receptionist to organise these.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  A full DBS check will be required for the successful candidate and other procedures and checks will be carried out for the successful candidate as laid out in our Safeguarding Children Policy.

This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.
