School Clubs

StaynPlayStay ‘n’ Play is an after school club for ages 7 to 16.
It is supervised and managed by a team of  staff.
We offer 15 places per session on Wednesdays and Thursdays and 8 places per session on a Monday. All sessions are from 3.15 to 5.30 pm.

Monday sessions are designed to cater for the needs of our more sensory pupils, and activities include:

  • Group painting
  • Play dough and foams
  • Music
  • Food, play and tasting
  • Water activity sessions
  • Sensory equipment

Wednesday sessions:

Pupils can choose to go to the Recreation Road Sports Hall or can stay at school for yoga and Singing and Signing.

Thursday sessions:

Pupils can choose either Art and Craft or Food Technology activities

Water or milk is provided throughout the session.
We provide a light tea which includes wraps, various spreads, fruit and yoghurts.
We cater to specific medical/religious dietary requirements.

At Stay’n’Play we also like to celebrate special occasions, such as Halloween and Christmas etc so will normally celebrate in the style of a themed party.

Parents can apply for their child to attend the club for a term. The Stay’n’Play staff review all applications so that children are grouped according to need and compatibility to ensure their safety, and that the club can meet their needs.
