Head Teacher’s Introduction
Thank you for visiting our website. We hope you find it informative and useful. As a Trust and Foundation School we are committed to improve the outcomes of students with special educational needs both at Parkside and in our partner schools. Last year we worked hard with The Hewett School to establish the Family Centre called ‘The Base’. This year we are helping to develop a Specialist Resource Base for students with an Autistic Spectrum Condition. We can now confirm that we will be having a post 16 provision based at The Hewett School, which will be called ‘Pathways’. It will enable students to spend one year of preparation to succesfully transition to a Further Education placement.
